Business and Technology will teach you how businesses operate effectively, efficiently and ethically and will show the critical role finance professionals play in achieving this. You’ll understand business in the context of its environment, including economic, legal and regulatory influences on aspects like governance, employment, health and safety, data protection and security.

  2. Business organisational structure, functions and governance
  3. Accounting and reporting systems, compliance, control, technology and security
  4. Leading and managing individuals and teams
  5. Personal effectiveness and communication
  6. Professional ethics in accounting and business

Should Attend

Individuals who would like to start the ACCA qualification or those who are doing their ACCA Applied Knowledge exams.

 

Prerequisites

Either holding a fully awarded matriculation certificate or holding a degree in Accounting, Business Studies, or similar.

There are no minimum entry requirements for students opting for the Foundations in Accountancy (FIA).
