The aim of the syllabus is to demonstrate organisational leadership and senior consultancy or advisory capabilities and relevant professional skills, through the context of an integrated case
study.
The syllabus for Strategic Business Leader acts as the key leadership syllabus at the Strategic Professional level and is a substantial, integrated examination. The examination requires candidates to demonstrate a range of professional skills demanded by effective leaders or in advising or supporting senior management in directing organisations.

  3. Internal control
  4. Audit evidence
  5. Review and reporting
  6. Employability and technology skills

What to expect during the tuition phase:

  1. Coverage of the syllabus
  2. Exercises to check your level of understanding of different concepts and principles
  3. High-level questions to consolidate knowledge

What to expect during the exam practice:

  1. Briefing on exam-style questions and explaining how to identify and use the important information to answer each question correctly
  2. Working out of exam-style questions
  3. Debriefing of answers
  4. Answering individual queries

Should Attend

Either has completed all 3 Applied Knowledge exams and all 6 Applied skills exams, or holds a relevant Accounting, Finance, or similar degree.

Prerequisites

Either has completed all 3 Applied Knowledge exams and all 6 Applied skills exams, or holds a relevant Accounting, Finance, or similar degree.

Assessment

Students can sit for the exam in March, June, September, or December. The Academy prepares students to sit for their exams in either March, June, or September.
