Financial Management Full Course
Course Description
The aim of the syllabus is to develop the knowledge and skills expected of a finance manager, in relation to investment, financing, and dividend policy decisions.
The syllabus for Financial Management (FM) is designed to equip candidates with the skills that would be expected from a finance manager responsible for the finance function of a business.
Choose Your Preference
- The Financial Management full course consists of both the tuition and integrated exam practice (All learning material together with 3 Mock exams included).
- The Financial Management exam practice consists of exam practice sessions only and a mock exam
- The Financial Management self-paced course consists of an online-based learning platform consisting of a set of pre-recorded lectures covering all topics, question banks, and 3 mock exams

Course Structure
On successful completion of this exam, candidates should be able to:
- Discuss the role and purpose of the financial management function
- Assess and discuss the impact of the economic environment on financial management
- Discuss and apply working capital management techniques
- Carry out effective investment appraisal Identify and evaluate alternative sources of business finance
- Discuss and apply principles of business and asset valuations
- Explain and apply risk management techniques in business
- Demonstrate employability and technology skills
The course is composed of 56 hours of tuition which can be followed face-to-face and/or live online. The course also has a total of 9 hours of face-to-face and/or live online exam practice sessions. This new delivery methodology has been implemented to ensure that you get a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge related to the FM paper while also having the opportunity to get extensive exam practice.
The syllabus will be covered during the tuition lectures. Then the exam practice sessions will be based on exam-style questions. During the revision phase, the focus will be on practicing lots of past paper questions. Through the briefing of the questions and the debriefing of the answers one will be revising the syllabus but most importantly developing the necessary exam technique that is needed to pass this exam.

- Exercises to check your level of understanding of different concepts and principles
- High-level questions to consolidate knowledge
What to expect during the revision phase (through past-paper questions):
- Briefing of exam-style questions and explaining how to identify and use the important information to answer each question correctly
- Working out of exam-style questions
- Debriefing of answers
- Answering individual queries
Should Attend
Individuals who either have completed 3/3 Applied Knowledge exams or hold a relevant Accounting, Finance, or similar degree
Prerequisites
Individuals who either have completed 3/3 Applied Knowledge exams or hold a relevant Accounting, Finance, or similar degree.
Assessment
Students can sit for the exam in March, June, September, or December.
